To My Little Man:

The day I discovered that you were going to be a part of our lives was the best day of my life. You became so active rolling around and kicking me, I couldn't wait to meet you. Those nine months flew by.

Then the day came, Easter Sunday, the day I said you were going to come. My water broke and the contractions came and seven short hours later, I was holding you in my arms. You were so beautiful, weighing in at 8lbs 12oz and 20 inches long, what a healthy baby boy. You grew so fast and changed every day. We thought the roughest day of our lives was the day you had surgery, God only if we know what the future held.

Your smile lit up the room. Everyone that came in contact with you, no matter the amount of time it could be a second, a minute, an hour...they fell in love. When you started telling a story, you told it from beginning to end. I couldn't believe the day I found your first tooth, a few days short of being four months old and you had a tooth. Then a few days later the other tooth, boy how fast you grew. You were ready to get up and go no more lying down and playing, you were ready to "walk" out the door. Then when you started holding your bottle i couldn't get over all the things you were doing so fast. But now we do.

You were the baby on the go, as Mom-Mom would say. You got to go to Ocean City three times, West Virginia to see your Great Grandma and you have been to Disney World (in mommy's belly) buy hey, you were still there. You have done so much in your four and a half short months.

The day you were taken from us I felt like my world had stopped. But, I know one thing for sure you have changed me, my life and I thank you for that. You have brought joy and love into my life that I NEVER knew I would or could experience. When you were taken from us I thought my soul, my love, my life was taken with you. I didn't think I could live without you, I didn't want to live without you, I didn't think I could go on without my little man. But i had to; we still had to "take care of you".

You will forever be my little man, my firstborn and the apple of my eye and hopefully real soon you'll be a big brother.

YOU'LL FOREVER BY IN MY HEART AND NEVER FORGOTTEN.

WITH ALL MY LOVE,

MOMMY
